- $90? Really? This purchase was a complete disappointment. I would return the item, but I've thrown away the box. First of all, to fill this pen with ink is really a hassle. This pen has build-in filling system and it says it ALL. To fill it up you will have to place your gold plated nib into bottle of ink and good luck cleaning the nib and your hands after all. The flow of ink, while writing, is not as smooth as I expected. I tried 2 types of ink and neither worked for me. The value of this pen based on the functionality ... Read More

- Good pen - a little bit on the light sideI bought this pen from Amazon, the pen was shipped promptly and arrived in good condition.
This pen write smoothly, I am using the same brand of ink (Pelikan), so far for about a month's usage, I never have any ink dry out condition after an overnight storage, it is always ready for use first thing in the morning, I ordered the fine nip, but the line is a little bit thicker than fine, the pen is really light in comparison with other fountain pen, depend on your own liking, it can be a good or bad ... - Excellent PenI have used this fountain pen, only in the blue swirl color, for about 15 years. It is one of my very favorite pens. I own many others, 12 in total, including very expensive Montblanc's and this one writes every bit as well. The bladder hold a resonable supply of ink; the clear window allows easy inspection of how much is still available; the plated nib is very smooth and has never skipped or scratched. Very high quality at a bargain price. Only thing that has ever happened is that the top fell off which ... Read More

- Excellent pen, now I'll rediscover the joy of writing with a fountain penFor years, because it's convenient for everyone, because of the inferior quality of the paper, and in order to fill out forms with several copies, I have been writing with a ballpoint. I decided to treat myself to a new fountain pen. At first I bought a Phileas, but I found the nib too broad and decided to buy a Pelikan 200 -- like the one I had in High School.
I received it today, and bought new ink (old ink can make your pen skip and get clogged). I discovered the Pelikan is easier to write with ... Read More

- Fine German craftsmanship at a reasonable price.I own several "less expensive" fountain pens (all in the sub $100 range) and this is hands-down the finest among them. It writes smoothly out of the box and the fit and finish is superb. I highly recommend it. I read one review that said if one were stuck on a desert island with just one pen, this would be it. I agree. I also own a Waterman Phileas and prefer the Pelikan to it.
